Admitted! I love this admissions office, they are so efficient and helpful!

Admitted. I have to echo the above -- W & L is on top of everything. Ten minutes after receiving the admittance e-mail we get the scholarship info e-mail. I haven't been so well kept in the loop in any other admissions process thus far.

Accepted!!!!!...this makes two, accepted via call for Richmond, and accepted via email to W&L..yes yes yes!!!..still waiting to hear back from 13 other schools though =)

Throwing in my hat: admitted a week or two ago with the first wave. Was well above their 75% for GPA and LSAT.

Admitted as well! The more I read about W&L, the more impressed I am. I've been to the campus a few times and it's beautiful, I'm just not sure if I want to spend three years in Lexington.

Lexington is my concern about W&L as well. I'll be going to law school with my partner and I'm worried about the job situation/life situation for people not affiliated with the university. :-/

First one of my apps to go complete (yesterday), any idea when I could be hearing back? Also, does anyone know if W&L yield protects? It doesn't look like it from LSN.

I got a large packet from W&L this week. I read over it briefly looking for scholarship information, but I was in a rush and haven't gotten a chance to go over it since. It seems to be a welcome letter from various members of the faculty. Did anyone else receive this? I am hoping that I am not receiving those letters in leiu of scholarship information! It was an 8.5 X 11 white envelope with three letters tucked inside.

Gosh I can't believe I forgot to go back and read them!

It's not scholarship info. I got it too. Just welcome letters from faculty. It got me excited also lol

I dunno if you guys got the "Scholarship Info" email but it said they don't start making the first round of scholarship decisions until mid-January.

You will get a link to one via email once they receive your application, which will likely be tomorrow. I think you'll find W&L's admissions timeline quite enjoyable.

you did not fully read that email, it said that mid-January is when they have done it in the past but this year it is mid-December.
