I'm a closet optimist. I'd much rather expect a waitlist so if/when that comes I'm not devastated...but I just can't do it. But that said, I don't need any more false confidence for it to all come crashing down in my face.

Does everyone have " United States Minor Outlying Islands" as their country of citizenship?

Does that mean US and minor outlying islands? Or did I mess up my citizenship on my application?

I don't think I changed it for any of the applications, but this seems to be bugging me.

It means exactly what it says. I think US Minor Outlying Islands is a separate thing...you might have checked it off too fast on the drop down menu.

Now to check all 11 of my apps for the same mistake...

I actually have the same concern. I didn't change the info on the apps, but it's only this way for NYU =/

I checked all my applications, and they all have the same information. However, NYU is the only school where my citizenship is listed as that.

Mine says "Country of citizenship (if not United States)
United States of America/Territories"

Yeah, mine also says that, but I was referring to the citizenship on the status checker.

I'm sure there's no problem if everyone else has that

Same here. I honestly don't think it's anything to worry about. In every experience I've had with NYU in the past, everything there takes forever.
