Nothing to do with scholarships, but how well do BLS graduates fare in NYC upon graduation?

You know I hear horror stories but there certainly are 3Ls who have jobs lined up. It's a tough market out there for anyone in NYC and I'm praying it turns around by the time I graduate. I think it all depends on how well you get yourself out there and put yourself out there.. it's not what you know, it's who you know after all.. doing well in school certainly doesn't hurt, however.

Just got a packet last night... They have a lot of visiting opportunities but I don't see any ASWs. The orientation programs for accepted students are all during the week (3/23, 4/13, 5/17, 6/14) and there are different dates for tours, financial aid discussions.

Question for those of you who have received an indication that aid is coming...I was accepted via email last Wednesday, today I received my acceptance letter. No mention of any consideration of a scholarship of any kind. Received a near full ride at St. Johns so I'm hoping for some aid at BLS. Stats are 165/2.9. Is it possible I'll be notified of possible aid consideration in the kit, or am I out of luck as far as scholarship goes?

Admitted today via status check! Will be waiting to hear about scholarship $$$.....
Submitted app on 12/23 - went complete pretty quickly, went into review on 1/27...I'm a splitter....Best of luck to everyone waiting

I just received an e-mail with log-in info for BLSConnect and the Admitted Students Website. I tried logging in, but it says "access denied." Anyone else try their log-in info?

FWIW, my friend is a 2L, and she has a summer assoc position with a V30 firm lined up.

Yea I had the same issue. Apparently they are aware of the problem and support is handling, should be fixed soon.

Seems like they made a decent amount of decisions today... not for me... regardless been in limbo for months now. I don't know what to make of it considering they have been wait-listing people and also seem to be doing a mass hold of other people. So I'd guess it's both good and bad? But mostly just frustrating and annoying.

Ilovesf- My status checker was at 1/11 "In Review" til they changed it to 2/1 "In Review" and I had a decision two days later. So hopefully it's a good thing!
