Really not liking Nova currently.
Nova is 14th and out of the 15 schools I applied to in terms of preference. With that being said, complete since 11/11/10 is comical.

Good for you for thinking it's funny, wish I could. All I can feel is anger towards them.

I'm in between thinking it's funny and being pissed...if I had a few more decisions under my belt, I probably wouldn't give a rat's patoot.

I;m very tempted to withdraw my app, because I have heard from all but 4 schools, and its going to take a lot for me to consider nova. I dont want to do it because ive waited this long, and why not see what they have to say. On the other hand, I dont really care either way. I just want my cycle to be over, so I can go a head and plan visits, narrow down my list, and choose a school and be able to think about the decision for a few weeks afterwords, then paay my seat deposit.

Oh, I didn't mean it in a bad way! I want to think it's comical because it really is. Honestly, what are they doing over there anyway? Their system for reviewing apps is beyond disorganized. I really wish someone from their admissions office would read this thread...

Try complete since 11/15. I think they dropped my file behind a desk or something.

I'm an UG here so I always look over to the building on the way to a class like "WTF are they doing in that admissions office?!" because they sure as hell aren't looking at files. We had a snow day today, so im assuming the LS did too.

I don't even have class today, so it was useless for me. Hopefully we'll have another one tomorrow. lol.

Try complete since 10/4. I am pretty sure that they have completely forgotten about me. I am about to give up on Nova.

Interesting thought - what would Nova do if a sizable chunk of their applicant pool withdrew apps because we're tired of waiting?

Hopefully call everyone who withdrew in a panic and offer them all scholarships? One can wish...

The status checker says to call if you've been UR for more than 60 days, so that means they have about 2 weeks to get back to me...

Does it really?? I have been sitting at Complete since 11/16 (like some other people on here) so I sent a pretty bitchy email today saying I wanted a response soon. They are frikin useless. I honestly don't get it. I think we should all withdraw and say that it's because they took too long. I am pissed.

Dude, it's not even February. You guys need to take a deep breath. Also, the LS and undergrad are closed today because of the weather so you won't be getting a response for awhile (and we're probably going to be closed tomorrow too).

I have taken a deep breath, a few of them. It might not be February but it's pretty irritating to have not even gone UR and have other applicants already getting decisions (who applied after me btw). I am glad people are hearing but unless my application caught on fire, there's no good excuse.

Are you below a median? Are you from a different region than the mid-Atlantic?

I agree. My application has been complete for 3 and a half months now and it is irritating that it has not even gone into review. I am sure that I was one of the first to apply and I have received decisions from all of the other schools I applied to. Deep breaths are not cutting it for me anymore. Congrats to all those that know, but I am with you Irish, short of my ap spontaneously com-busting there are not many excuses for this long of a delay.
