I'm gonna go with either YP or big money. You're a slight splitter, but barely. I wouldn't be panicking if I were you, I'd be picking which champaign I prefer to celebrate with and watching movies.[/quote]

Does UVA give scholarship info later? Or should I assume I am getting no money?

Scholly info comes at the same time as the acceptance.kak5n wrote:Does UVA give scholarship info later? Or should I assume I am getting no money?

I've read that the big scholarships come with the acceptance, but the smaller scholarships come later (if they come at all).CryingMonkey wrote:Scholly info comes at the same time as the acceptance.kak5n wrote:Does UVA give scholarship info later? Or should I assume I am getting no money?

I was under the impression that UVA doesnt do "small" scholarships. Isnt it either 90,000 (full) or 75,000 (still a big amount)? or do they send out random smaller amounts as well?YCrevolution wrote:That is also my understanding (except to the extent people decline big scholarships which may then be reoffered to others).plenipotentiary wrote:I've read that the big scholarships come with the acceptance, but the smaller scholarships come later (if they come at all).CryingMonkey wrote:Scholly info comes at the same time as the acceptance.kak5n wrote:Does UVA give scholarship info later? Better then nothing i guess. With the 2 big schollys i mentioned, do you have to stay at a certain percentage of the class? or it is guaranteed for the 3 years?I believe there's some $5k/year to $15k/year ones.

Re: UVa. Regular Decision
It's actually the opposite. I think UVA gives relatively few big scholarships, but lots of little ones. I could be wrong about that, though.jt1341 wrote:I was under the impression that UVA doesnt do "small" scholarships.
