It probably is? but i don't think anyone has received a wl/ding yet so I don't know. The admit packet was in a fed ex box and had a LOT of papers in it including a ~200 page vandy info book.
I mean, I guess it has to be. IIRC people are always surprised by how big the acceptance packages are, and I'm sure they're not cruel enough to send you such a big box only to have a sheet that says "Sorry, but you're out." :)

Relax. Be yourself. The vast majority of interviews I've heard about have been pretty informal and laid-back. Go in with some working knowledge of the school (spend a little time on Vandy's website and TLS) and you'll be fine. If it's in a law firm or other professional setting, wear a suit. If it's more casual (i.e. coffee shop, bookstore, etc), you can stick with a button-down and khakis.

Good luck. Your numbers are already very competitive; as long as you don't sit there and drool on yourself, you're in.

Just relax and have fun. My phone interview lasted about 2 hours and spent most of the time talking about southern rap and politics, mainly being a republican in the bay area. really chill and cool.

Application just went out yesterday: 12/13
3 weeks later than I wanted, but I was SO burned out on sending out apps and the $$ I have spent at this point.
I am sure I have a long wait at this point, but at least I got it out before the holidays.

Didn't think much of the school at first but after doing some research it seems Vandy places better than some of the lower T14s -- what do you guys think? I've already been accepted to G-Town but I am now seriously considering Vandy for $$$...

I am slightly biased because I'm from right outside Nashville, but I'd take Vandy with money over several T14s. Their placement has impressed me, and my interviewer really made me like the school. If you haven't been, I'd definitely recommend a visit as well - the law building is very pretty, and in one of my favorite parts of Nashville!
