Has anyone let them know that the status checker still says Class of 2013?

I mean, otherwise, our grades are pretty crappy as we've missed finals We definitely helped the curve....

Mine says 2014, too. I guess Out of staters get an unfair advantage, grade wise? Lol

When I log into the website it says 2014, when I check on my phone...as I have been since applying it says 2013

They never tell you this, but baking cookies and brownies for 2Ls really helps your case.

In a couple of hours, I'll be the official Atlanta area dropoff contact for baked goods.

It's frustrating. UGA was supposed to be a lock for me. My obsessive status checking has made this wait seem much longer.

Here's what I'm thinking: To begin, UGA began accepting kids a lot later this year because, due to record-high applications in 09, they were left with a lot of talent on their waiting list last year. So this year they delayed making decisions until they'd received a larger sample of applications. Once the school finally started, they first accepted the top-shelf in-state applicants, and about a week later accepted the top-shelf OOS's. These may largely be students that have a lot of good offers to consider. It seems likely that UGA's next step will be to accept their next tier of students, either first from IS and then OOS, or draw from both simultaneously. Hopefully we all fit into that next group of future acceptees, but there's no telling when they'll update our statuses.

To be honest, UNC is my number one choice. If I get in to Carolina, I'll almost certainly attend, unless it would be smarter financially to go somewhere else (i.e. somewhere threw loads of cash at me, because UNC in-state is dirt cheap)

I'm in the same situation. I'm in at UGA, but UNC is my number 1 choice since I'm a NC resident and a UNC graduate.

I think they are solid. 2.5 yrs public service in the legal field and I started a non-profit.
