Has anyone else gone complete today? I've been at a stalemate for a few weeks and just got my complete e-mail; wondering if anyone else has heard the same.

could this be a sign that acceptances are coming out soon? What does everyone think of the idea that W&L--as a peer school--sending out their first batch of acceptances may prompt W&M to get theirs out soon too?

If I can't get into UVA, I think I would love to go to W&M as a second choice. It was great when I visited. Had a very friendly atmosphere to their law school and it was like UVA's in the sense that there was a lot of history behind it and decorated as such.

Probably not. No one is going to make a decision in the next couple weeks. They'd probably feel more rushed if W&L began to send out money.

Absolutely correct. I received my acceptance on November 19th 2009, yes last year.

155/2.2 submitted 3rd week of oct, lors arrived first week of november went complete 2nd week of nov, accepted nov 19th.

hey... i'm a veteran too with a horrible GPA (granted i dont have an mba though). and i took my LSAT in the middle east as well! (at camp arifjan). Keep me posted on how your cycle is goin and i will do the same!

I've seen W&M explicitly put that they are not a rolling admissions school and for applicants to not expect a decision until February or March. What makes you all think that we will hear any sooner?

Last year, W&M released its first batch of acceptances in early November, with more steadily rolling out pretty much every week thereafter.

When I went there last week they said they would be giving out decisions soon to the people they are 100% sure about. Then the rest will go out in March.

I believe they said this month - but I forget...don't quote me on that or kill me if no decisions come out this month!

We just have to be patient with W&M I guess this year...

Today marks 6 weeks of blank status checker. I'm considering withdrawing and telling them it's because they can't handle a simple task like a status checker.

I had that for a while as well, but then I finally got an e-mail saying my file was complete and my status checker went blank. Don't worry, they probably have everything. If it's still like that by next Monday or so, then that would be a good time to call and verify.

I think the 11/11. I got a status checker on the 12th saying file incomplete.
