uhhh pretty sure it doesn't make a difference for you (URM with a 178).czelede wrote:Those damn GPA floors...dabomb75 wrote:actually the past years' splitter threads set the GPA cutoffs as 3.0-3.3 and LSAT of 170+.
Anyone with a 3.5+ and a 170+ has no worry whatsoever at t-14 whereas us real splitters have to deal with a sweat just to get into 1 or 2 t-14 schools
Not that I really care that you guys participate in the thread but just saying we have way more anxiety as splitters than you 3.4+ people
*shakes fist angrily*
I need to build me a time machine and lecture my college self on how that 0.2 does make a difference.

Although, to be fair, I think URMs are more advantaged as reverse-splitters than regular splitters, just from anecdotal evidence.

I would totally trade 5 LSAT points for .5 on my GPA. But then I wouldn't have made so many friends on this thread.
Hell ill give 10 points for .8 points. And hang out with reverse splitters

I don't know what to consider myself other than a middling splitter, but GULC and Vandy seem to have liked me.

Another splitter checking in (171/3.3).
Applied late november, and still stuck at 'complete.'
I'm an international applicant, and I wonder how the schools would feel toward foreign splitters haha..
Anyway, nice to meet you all,
and hope the best ONLY for splitters!!!

Semi-splitter here: 3.4x/172. Accepted to GULC, BC, and Tulane w/ schollie so far. Surprised that LSP only has me at a Consider for GULC because I got in fast, and judging by fellow TLS folks with similar numbers, that is far from unusual. I'm hoping that means that LSP underestimated my chances at schools above GULC.

3.0/175 checking in again... so far all I've got are waitlist at W&L and ding at UVA.
Still waiting to hear anything from:
Northwestern
Minnesota
UCLA
Columbia (lol, relax I know it's not happening)
Seattle University
UW
WUSTL
William & Mary
If it seems like a strange list, it is because UW is really my primary target and most of the rest were T1 schools that gave me fee waivers.
