WL today. Complete 11/23 IR 1/14 1/20 171 3.2

I'm on 7 WLs and 2 holds now. This sucks.

For all you other waitlistees... The waitlist letter said to send all correspondence by email, to waitlist@law.usc.edu, so I emailed them my LOCI last week but I never got a response. I would at least have expected a "Thanks for writing, we got your message, ttyl" kind of thing. The reason I'm a little concerned is that I sent it from a gmail account and maybe it went to a spam folder? Ugh, I would much rather have mailed it but the letter was pretty clear about how to send stuff. So, uh, should I send them another email asking if they got it? Or should I just calm down?

I don't know why gmail would go straight to spam. All my correspondence with law schools, including USC, has been through gmail, and all have responded to them at least once.

maybe even try calling for confirmation? but maybe they're not looking at the waitlist email account at all until the all the decisions have first gone out. (meaning all rejections and waitlists - which will mostly take place in April)

If you're waitlisted it'll show on the Status checker as a WL. If you're accepted/rejected it'll say decision finalized and they'll send you a letter.

I have a nagging feeling that this, my last "first response" decision, will not be a wait list. I have never even been to California. Considering just the possibility of it this long may be the closest I'll ever get. What irony it would be if they actually accepted me. I'm so far up the east-coast booty, I may actually end up west. I would be perfectly satisfied with any final decision at this point. So bring on the ding...or the ding ding.

I imagine they can't pull from the list until they've at least made decisions on everyone else. And nothing indicates they're even close to that.

wow. not until after april

according to LSN last year, May at the earliest. some dates state when they were waitlisted, but if you check the last updated date, it is may at the earliest.

Went complete in early January. Online status checker still just says "Complete." Judging by my numbers, I'm expecting an auto reject in a couple of weeks.

Sure wish they would get it over with sooner, though.
