I've RSVP'd for admitted students days, they've got an entire schedule on that up. There's some information on financial aid, housing, etc. but it doesn't look like it's all gone up. Still looking through everything.

sounds cool. by info on financial aid, you just mean general info, right? not concrete numbers concerning merit aid or anything like that.

Me as well. Can you give those of us who aren't able to log in a general sense of what it says? Like how early are there things going on on the first day, for example.

NYU finally confirmed that they got my application. This comes a week after everyone to whom I applied on 12/29 got back to me. Oh, well. NYU, I still love you, and if you give me a big scholly, I'll love you for a long time.

i told my parents to keep an eye out for a purple envelope, and then quickly followed up with 'but if its a white envelope, prepare for disappointment.' my dad goes 'well it isn't disappointment for me, but i'd be pretty empathetic at least.' thanks dad.

Got my complete email today after applying in late december. Considering the holiday, NYUs notoriety for no communication, and the sure high influx of apps, I'm impressed. Here's to hoping they dont string me along till April waiting for a decision

IN AT NYU. Letter dated January 8th. 'Twas found tucked away in my mailbox today.

Definitely got the email about the admitted students website first, which was a mindfuck. Oh, well - I live in Chicago's Hyde Park and "snail mail" is an all too literal term in these parts. At least I found the purple envelope in the mail today at long freaking last.

Really? I thought I had a pretty good shot with my numbers (slightly fudged on my LSN page of the same name). Oh well, I still don't think they would've become my number one choice of those I've been accepted to.
