Literally could mean anything. If you haven't been keeping up through the last couple of pages, myself and others have been UR1 since early October, so I don't want to hear you whine about "an inordinately long time at UR1" (except I went UR2 last week or so, but I still claim my purgatory). Just chill... you'll know when you know.Schneidersbetter wrote:Well donelymenheimer wrote:That you went UR2 today.Schneidersbetter wrote:Went UR2 today, UR1 was 11/11, any guesses what this could mean?any other options? Aha, I guess I haven't been paying the closest attention. Aight well I expect you to inform me specifically next time you have an update, because I seem to be 2 weeks behind you and definitely would not want to occupy purgatory with you still in itlymenheimer wrote:Literally could mean anything. Re: NYU c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
Unduly harsh, I realize, but it's come up a bunch, specifically some individuals who submitted in January and were complaining about no movement. So that's kind of frustrating since the long-waiters haven't been complaining nearly as much. At least UR2 means you're one step closer to a decision.Schneidersbetter wrote: Aha, I guess I haven't been paying the closest attention. Re: NYU c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
It won't. When someone refers to UR1 or UR2, they're referring to when they noticed a date change accompanying the "Under Review" label in the status checkerskf555 wrote:this may seem like a stupid question. but will your account say "under review 2"? thanks!!

Has anyone heard back from the status checker before anything else?
Are Monday decisions a rarity?
Should I stop checking my status checker every 20 min

Not to encourage your compusive status-checking, but I found out via status checker on a Monday morning...thirdlegpooper wrote:Has anyone heard back from the status checker before anything else?

I've been monitoring pretty closely today - no movement yet here.thirdlegpooper wrote:Has anyone heard back from the status checker before anything else?

The past few decision days have been the first day of the workweek (Tuesday after MLK day, last Monday), but I think in December decisions were released on days throughout the week, so it's hard to tell if there's any predictability.

My sincere condolences for the dings. I know it's painful to check status check but for those who had checked the status before receiving the ding email, did it say DLS?

Re: NYU c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
I received a big purple envelope in the mail yesterday, but the letter inside was dated from early January. The letter also referenced the box of stuff that I received at least two weeks ago saying that the box would be "arriving in the mail soon".
Has this happened to anyone else? I mainly ask because I'm worried that if the purple envelope was delayed so long maybe some other law school (acceptance?) letters are too?
maybe that is just wishful thinking

Just got dinged, which I wouldn't be too bummed about except the fact that I thought I might have been competitive for the ASPIRE Cybersecurity program given my background, current TS-SCI security clearance, and recommendations from high-ranking officers in the cyber world.
Other stats: 174, 2.79, went under review 11/29.
Best of luck to everyone else!
