I decided earlier this week at last that I did not want to wait and see what CLS had in store for me. I got held back on 3/9. I bet there would have been a reserve for me as well on Friday from the looks of it. I withdrew right before they could have the chance to reserve me

...so is anyone still waiting? I called a couple of days ago and they said end of April and that I should continue to check both email and postal mail.

Yes, I am still waiting. I am curious as to why they have still yet to produce initial decisions for applicants. I wish there were a bit more transparency with this process. It's the end of April. I have decisions to make and they partly rely on a response from this school.

I would like to know why it's taking this long. I'm not going to assume incompetence but I would like to know why they have yet to get back to people who submitted before the application deadline. A brief explanation in a email would suffice, even if the reason were mundane. I would gladly take a "Please be patient, an unprecedented volume/limited staff/higher number of attractive applicants etc."

Any information would be appreciated.

Yep. Still waiting for initial decision. I can't believe it's April 30th and we still haven't heard...

They haven't issued them yet. My guess would be some time in June or early July, but hard to say.

Finally caved in and called the University. Phone number on their website didn't work. Phone number on their e-mail didn't work. Finally called the general Columbia number and after 15 minutes was transferred to the law school. They couldn't tell me my decision over the phone so asked me to send an e-mail. So hopefully I'll know sometime this year.

Anyone else have problems with Columbia or is it just me?
