I always say things like your "tossed into lake Michigan" comment in jest, but I honestly wonder if they've somehow lost our applications...
Lake Michigan is frozen at the moment so you'll have to wait a while until they can get to your application.

Gahh, it all makes sense now! They put our apps in before it froze and now they have to wait for it to thaw out!

(but for real... I guess this is how #dlsnevercrew over at NYU feels)

I'll be applying next cycle. I know NW likes WE, but I'm wondering what exactly qualifies as WE. I have been in the military, and by the time I apply I'll have 2 years WE as a police officer. Does this count in the context of being a splitter? Or are they looking more for WE as a paralegal or some finance guy?

Yes it does. And thank you for your service. You're doing great things for your country.

Joining the held club. Awkward video here I come. We just need to get it in before April, when they begin review, right?

I think the held form isn't even due until May 1, but since they begin review in April, I think it's absolutely best to get it in this or next month.

Practically anything that's WE after undergrad is good. Military service is generally considered one of the few softs that can help people outperform their numbers. The WE as a police officer definitely counts too.

Nothing, just moving through the process and your file is being reviewed

Has everyone else who submitted before December 1 heard a decision?

There are plenty of people on LSN who submitted before 12/1 and have not reported decisions: http://northwestern.lawschoolnumbers.co ... &sort=sent

To anyone recently waitlisted--how long of responses are you submitting (if you are submitting them)? And would a recent acceptance to a summer internship abroad be something they should be updated on? Thanks!
