Re: Duke c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 Cycle)
I applied 2/14 with a PT invite. Went complete 2/17, and under review twice (2/19 and 2/25). Guessing I should be hearing back today, right? (Thought I read that a decision was rendered 10 days after going complete.)
Just hoping to be put on the PR waitlist, an acceptance does not seem very real given what we've seen on here lately for people far more qualified than me. Right above 25th LSAT/at median GPA, wrote Why Duke.

No email yet. Is this a rejection/WL or is this genuinely how it works?Decision made; watch for email

Genuinely how it works. I got my acceptance just a few minutes after that status change. I know because I was refreshing like mad.aboutmydaylight wrote:No email yet. Is this a rejection/WL or is this genuinely how it works?Decision made; watch for email

UR1(2/17) to UR2(2/27)
too fast? bad sign?
And above the date, the note changed to 'We appreciate your continued interest in Duke Law School. If you would like to submit additional/updated material, feel free to do so by email (admissions@law.duke.edu) or U.S. postal mail. '

Waitlist. Was expecting this, but not the accompanying disappointment.
Did some research for distinctions b/t PR and normal waitlist. In for the long haul. Also edited the above, because apparently I couldn't form coherent sentences in my grief.

Welp, still at UR2. So much for that 7-10 day trend after going UR2 for RD applicants, at least for me.
I don't know how the people who have been waiting longer have kept their sanity.

Did you write a "Why Duke?"
We have similar numbers, but I was PT--->PR'd.

Right? I've been UR2 for almost 4 months.
Don't worry, it gets easier

Wait, wait, wait. Did you hear from Cal and Stanford before Duke's PT?aboutmydaylight wrote:In just now via email priority track.
I knew you were gonna murder your cycle, but its fascinating watching how quickly you're doing it.

Re: Duke c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 Cycle)
Haha. I submitted Duke about 2 weeks after Berkeley/Stanford. Honestly I feel like I lucked out. Even though I submitted late I got quick responses from 2 of probably my top 4 choices. Makes the rest of the cycle way less stressful.Dr.Zer0 wrote:Wait, wait, wait. Did you hear from Cal and Stanford before Duke's PT?aboutmydaylight wrote:In just now via email priority track.

I've been stuck at UR1 since 2/10 and applied back in December. Already heard back from every other school I applied to on that day except for Duke! Wish they would hurry it upppp

Just got acceptance email! Looks like Duke is working Saturday night on RD applicants. Went UR2 on 2/20, submitted in November.
