I appreciated it. I just didn't have time to comment in my rush to make my terrible jokes before you guys moved onto a new conversation topic. I swear this thread is actually just a bunch of iterations of the dog from "Up" with access to keyboards and the internet. "So how about those scholarsh- SQUIRREL!"scotth724 wrote:Thank you. I intially resisted seeing "Up" because I thought I was too old for the new Disney/Pixar movies...but I was wrong. So good.Ricky-Bobby wrote:I appreciated it. My problem with the $200 thing is it def won't cover a flight from PA, so I'm considering driving... I mean that means I'd also get to take more days off of school so there's that

Also assuming I'm one the lucky recipients of the stipend assuming I'm actually accepted.

Flight: $250
Hotel: 2x$100
PTO: 1 Day
Stipend: -$200
That's $250 before food for 1 full day...seems kinda steep, would love to stay the weekend but $100/night is the cheapest hotel I can find in the area...decisions decisions...
edit: corrected math

ETA - approximately 2-3 weeks for interview request, approximately 1-2 weeks thereafter.PourMeTea wrote:in

Totally misunderstood. Thought you meant just "in" the thread in general. Then ETA = estimated time of acceptance.
