Yes and No - mine reads: "Your excellent record at <insert college here>, your work experience with <company>, and your interest in <law topic>." I guess my record at my college outside of the classroom wasn't excellent.debater88 wrote:Have admits been getting a semi-personalized email from Liz Magill?

True dat... I've convinced myself that YLS is the worst LS in the world, where I would receive an abysmal legal education too superfluous to comprehend and where I would free to death at the onset of winter.Wormfather wrote:HYS should all be a little quicker, problem is, you get into one of the three and at first you're like, ok, this is cool, lets see what shakes out. totally. my thoughts exactly.Wormfather wrote:HYS should all be a little quicker, problem is, you get into one of the three and at first you're like, ok, this is cool, lets see what shakes out. Yeah, everyone I talk to basically laughs in my face when I say, "HLS is great, but I'm still waiting on SLS and YLS, and for clerkships, those schools are more secure. I need to think about things." The answer is always, "Well, I know a certain someone who got into Harvard, and his name is BARACK OBAMA :smug:"helix23 wrote:totally. my thoughts exactly.Wormfather wrote:HYS should all be a little quicker, problem is, you get into one of the three and at first you're like, ok, this is cool, lets see what shakes out. At this point, I'm so confounded by my options that I am reserving judgment until after ASWs. I remember the moment I fell in love with my UG while visiting and knew that I had to go there, and I'm hoping a magical moment like that occurs during one of the law school visits. (Also, you flatter me about SLS...ManOfTheMinute wrote:What would your leaning be when you get into SLS also?
