Probably yield protection. If you really want to go, write an LOCI expressing your interest and you will be in.

AA or hispanic (or what type of hispanic)? Probably not YP if you're not AA. With many hispanics it's about being over one of the two medians. I guess you're only slightly below the GPA median, but you are below both. That's why Hispanic applicants with high GPA but lower LSATs tend to better than those who fall below both medians yet still have pretty good apps.

so is the consensus that everyone that went DR on 3/2 is waitlisted or rejected? (wouldn't surprise me, i have lower numbers) i'm really anxious as my letter hasn't come yet. i live in CA so the mail is lagging, i would have thought it would come by today.

I know I'm going to be waitlisted because people who went complete the same time as me with the same numbers have been, but the waiting is killing me! Why have I survived this long when it probably should have been instant WL?

Hmm - I was accepted awhile back. My numbers are lower. Mex-Am here.
