Wouldn't you think with this extended ED deadline they'd wouldn't be amassing an RD list, or at least one bigger than last year, seeing as they'd probably need to extend fewer offers to get the same class size?
I think if you're under median then it's going to be tough to get in this cycle. They fill up a lot of slots with splitters/reverse splitters via ED, and I think the deadline extension will enable them to admit more of these candidates. Thus, slots for under median RD folks are likely very, very limited.

Submitted a supplemental "Why Virginia" essay today. I would have included it with my original application, had I known they were allowed!

Congrats!!! We are numbers twins, so this gives me hope. Although I applied much later (mid-December)...I hope there's some money left by the time they get around to me (if they ever do)!

As soon as I get all the materials from UVA, I'll probably accept and withdraw from everywhere else.

KM, I actually sent in a LOCI-style email yesterday, telling them they were still my first choice (I wrote a Why UVA saying it was) and asking if another targeted LOR would help.

Just wanted to extend a quick congrats to everyone who got in today. It seems like expressing interest during the next few weeks could be a really important thing if you don't want to be WLed... or in 5ky's case, receiving a large scholarship.

Rockchalk - sent my initial email to lawadmit@law.virginia.edu, was GOING to send LOCI to Jason Dugas's personal email. I'd say send a preliminary is-it-okay-to-send-a-LOCI to the lawadmit address, then send the LOCI to wherever they direct you to.

Also, to whomever asked, I'm a 171/3.75. It looks like a high (3.86+) GPA is really important for getting money at the moment.
