My email to University of San Diego consisting of "Hey ive been complete for months now, did you lose my file? (Many people with numbers well below mine are getting a 1-2 week turnaround between going complete and receiving an offer of admission) Can you offer me any information, I am growing a bit concerned"
the reply (in so many words)
sdegarmo,
your file is complete and pending review. You will receive a final decision sometime between now and the first day of class.
Thank you,

I'm on eight right now, yes 8.wadeny wrote:I haven't browsed all 80+ pages of this thread, but how many of you have started receiving WL letters? When I applied last cycle, February was the month that WL hell seemed to begin. I was on 7 WLs myself after not really hearing anything until Feb/Mar, so I was just curious to see how everyone is faring this cycle.

Acceptance from unm in a rejection letter size envelope. Davis offered me 32k a year in need/merit aid.

Got my big shipment from Brooklyn today. It was nice and pretty and organized, and the dean wrote me a nice note on the back - 'let's plan to meet up.' That Henry has nice hand writing. And I would indeed like to meet up. I'd rather avoid debt and enter at the top of my class than pile on the loans and struggle to keep afloat at a school with a more preferable ranking.
Got a letter from Cooley today too! And a letter from a school in I think Illinois? inviting me to apply.... And a letter from Santa Clara, telling me about the scholarship they already told me about. Still waiting on the rest of the world.

Anybody else retaking in Feb. and getting a ton of emails from schools you haven't heard of wishing you luck on the LSAT? It's angering me too because they all say law admissions...think of a new subject line people!

It sounds as though it's time for you to head back to the USS thread and connect with your fellow optimists.robin600 wrote:Anybody else retaking in Feb. and getting a ton of emails from schools you haven't heard of wishing you luck on the LSAT? If anyone can top this one, let me know:
Cooley sent a packet of information to my permanent address (I'm still in college). I'm not sure how they even got that address since I've always used my current address for LSAC-related things. Here's the kicker: the packet was addressed to my brother, who works for a newspaper, does not even live at that address anymore, and has never signed up for anything law school related in his life (he despises lawyers).
Gettin' a tad creepy there, Cooley.

Aw =( That always sucks - you people work hard for years and then one little test messes you up.J-tow10 wrote:sibley wrote:What's your lsat? That was me last year! I applied with a 3.8/151 and got in nowhere, except for a provisionally ranked local school. Took a year off, studied for months and managed to do decently on the LSAT this past September. It can get better, you may just have to wait a year.Aw =( That always sucks - you people work hard for years and then one little test messes you up.

But what if you just don't test well? You end up spending money on the wait (living expenses, a job that pays less than after law school, etc)... for questionable results.mytwocents wrote: That was me last year! IN OTHER NEWS:
I am going to put a wireless video camera in my mailbox. I need to know what the heck is in there.
Think it'd work if I put one of those wireless sd cards in my digital camera and just let it run? I also will need a device to shuffle the mail for me, so I can see it all.
