Few people here seem to be keeping their sanity
100 days later... I have started to forget what sanity is.

But in all seriousness, for those of us who already have pretty decent offers just not the ones we really want, I'd advise trying to focus on what's good about the school(s) you already know you have as options

I've gotten responses because I applied early. Did a LOCI for Waitlist school, work on the bones (schmoozing, etc) for scholarship negotiation letters. There are a lot of helpful ways you can continue to stoke your obsession.
Or just take up running?

Applying for FAFSA is a nice 45 minute distraction.

haha Thanks! I've been pleasently surprised at just about every result I've gotten but I guess theres beauty in that ...somewhere...once this is all over and we can all be happly suffering through 1L. If anything I get more pleasure out of seeing everyone else kick butt on TLS
Not that you asked, but the Christmas Kitten is bae no matter what month it is!

FAFSA didn't take nearly as long as I thought it would, so on the advice of another TLS user, I'm shifting gears to scholarship and grant applications while I wait because I need something other than going through the status checkers every day. #waitsobored

Literally three months ago I was working on my apps to procrastinate writing my thesis, and now I'm writing my thesis to stop focusing on dumb status checkers that never update. If I finish the thesis while still waiting to hear from schools, I guess I'll get cracking on the cure for cancer or something...

What a cycle! Major congrats! I only applied to 8 (about to throw my yale mary in the next couple days to make it 9) and have gone 3 for 4 so far. Of course the one miss was my top choice...

Thank you! I'm sure you missed it because you have something even better coming your way (hopefully your Yale mary)
