Yep, that's an interview. I've been UR since 12/2 so this gives me hope, haha.
Also got an interview invite today. UR1 11/17 and UR2 1/26
edit: didn't write a why UVA so not surprised by my long wait

For those of us who have been under review for months: This has been mentioned a few times, but has anyone actually seen any movement after submitting a LOCI or application update? Already visited and submitted a "Why UVA"

Should I submit a Why X for UVA? I've already submitted an additional UVA-specific LOR and have updated them as to an award I've earned, think it's overkill to send an additional addendum? Don't want to be overbearing

Who would I email for a travel stipend on a non-ASW trip? Just admissions?

Radio silence since mid-November. I applied as an in-state resident, and for residency it still says "status pending." Regarding the residency still pending part, Is that common/true for anyone else?

Looks like I may not be the only November applicant still at UR1?

I was under review for about two months and then I bit the bullet and sent a Why UVA. I was then under review for about another month until getting invited to interview this past Thursday.

Anyone know what grades you need from UVA to get a 2L SA in Atlanta?

A very old thread on here suggests that UVA and Duke send a few 2L SAs to ATL with median GPAs

You don't even need to think about this for a long, long time. Even with hard work, grades in law school are somewhat of a crapshoot and you will have plenty of time to figure all of this out. Seriously. Just enjoy being a 0L for a bit.

Found the gunner.

If you'll take some advice from a cranky old man, some of the best career opportunities and experiences I had were a result of jumping on things that weren't in the five-year plan. OtterLaw has it right.

Finally some movement from UVA. Complete 11/2, UR1 11/28, and now looks like UR2 2/13. I interviewed on 1/13. Good sign?

Obviously better than no movement, but damn that's a long time post-interview to not hear. I got admitted the Monday after my Friday interview
