Re: Georgetown c/o 2018 Applicants
I had a group interview on 2/28 but haven't heard yet. Has anybody heard?

Re: Georgetown c/o 2018 Applicants
Has anybody been offered an unsolicited scholarship, or have they so far only been offered to people who have been sent the initial email asking about their interest?

I applied ED 1/26 went complete on the 27th. I haven't heard anything at all. My numbers are below the median but I guess my softs are worth considering. I am on my sixth week of waiting. I sent an email yesterday and heard back today saying that they would try to reach a decision by the end of the week; maybe that's applicable for other people too?

Re: Georgetown c/o 2018 Applicants
They're still reviewing ED applications? That explains a lot! I applied Regular 01/05, went complete the next day, and haven't heard a peep since! I was starting to get worried (25%<GPA/LSAT<50%), but this gives me hope that they just haven't gotten to my application yet. (Also, it's nice to know I'm not the only one still waiting!)michiarmen wrote:I applied ED 1/26 went complete on the 27th. I haven't heard anything at all. Re: Georgetown c/o 2018 Applicants
Just withdrew from Georgetown
No scholarship feeler email from them and while I was thinking up of a value to request from Georgetown I realized there was no circumstance in which I would attend Georgetown with a full Darrow and stipend at Michigan, nor would $$ from Georgetown help me with other scholarship negotiations. I'm not freeing up any money for anyone but hopefully someone can get my spot off the waitlist!
Good luck to all of you!!

Should I take it as a bad sign that it has now been 11 days since my group interview, and nothing? Or when Dean Cornblatt says it'll take within 10 days, does that mean 10 business days? ...

I also interviewed on 2/28, but in my group he said 10 days to two weeks, so I'm not worried yet. We're finally within that window so I'm hoping we hear soon!

Have you tried the admitted students website trick in OP? I did that on Monday and got in. Still haven't officially heard, but trying not to sweat it.ek5dn wrote:Thanks! I did, but on 2/23. Andy specifically told us 10 days - 2 weeks for response.

Got my acceptance letter in the mail today. The handwritten note on my acceptance letter specifically mentioned my interview. Pretty sure I would have been YP'd if it weren't for my interview (and my super awesome interviewer)

This may be an inappropriate forum for this information (please let me know where to move it if so) but
I will be driving down to the Admitted Student Days 3/26-27, leaving from Boston 3/25 in the evening. Anyone else who is going from the Boston/NYC/Philly Area (or anywhere else along the drive) who would like to carpool would be very welcome to join! Please DM me if you are interested and we can communicate by text or email or carrier pigeon.

Long time listener, first time caller. Possibility not much action this week because GULC is on Spring Break?

Re: Georgetown c/o 2018 Applicants
If I didn't submit an optional response and am now complete, can I still email the admissions office the essay and have it added to my app at this point?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
