They are so thirstyneprep wrote:The plot thickens: "special group within our Preferred Waiting List."
And they're pretty much demanding a LOCI from the text of their email.

Add me to the regular RD-WL list.
Anyone know if there's any correlation b/w application method (Reg v. ED) and waitlist (Reg v. Preferred)?

I dont think there is any correlation but I really have no idea. I applied ED way back in September and was just put on the Regular Waitlist after being held... Any other waitlisters heading to GW?adbuckley wrote:Add me to the regular RD-WL list.

At this point, it looks like there's a pretty decent chance I'll be at GW!zlatanlaw wrote:I dont think there is any correlation but I really have no idea. I'm still waiting to hear from Georgetown (last update 1/22), but I'm in at GW and that's where I'll be going if I don't get in. I'm a part timer, though..zlatanlaw wrote:I dont think there is any correlation but I really have no idea. It doesn't really help, but I applied RD and am on the preferred WL. I had an interview though, so maybe that has something to do with it. Good luck!adbuckley wrote:Add me to the regular RD-WL list.

Wait Listed via e-mail. Status checker changed from yesterday's date to today's, but still said "Application Complete." This is a Christmas miracle for me...thought I'd be a reject!ChicagoDawg wrote:Email.SparkyZZZ wrote:Stupid question, but are you all finding out about being wl'ed via email or status checker?

So the general trend is if you got status update both yesterday and today it is leading to a WL email?

Also WL'd ("special group within priority waitlist") just now. Above median GPA, significantly above LSAT 75 (and I've gotten in elsewhere so there's not some glaring issue with my app). I didn't schedule an interview, though, since I already knew I wasn't going to go here. (and i have no idea what the status checker was doing.)

Submitted 12/28 and I've been stuck since complete 1/07. Is this normal?

Finally another 1/07'er. I applied 12/10, complete 12/11. I think I had another complete, then 1/07, but this might only be my second.acfd wrote:Submitted 12/28 and I've been stuck since complete 1/07. Is this normal?
