Not entirely sure if this is a new development, although I don't remember it being the case for earlier status checks...

The "If" that begins the sentence "If you have any questions, please contact the SLS Office of Admissions at admissions@law.stanford.edu" is now erroneously displayed at the top center (between the "Bio/Address/Demographics" box and the "Status" box) of my Applicant Status Report. Anyone else noticed this? I checked my status using two different browsers this morning, and the page was displayed the same way with each of them, so I think the glitch is on SLS's end.

Otherwise, there's been no change; I'm still under review.

So I know that TLS is not representative of the whole applicant pool... AND that not everyone's first move when getting an acceptance is to go update their TLS friends.

But every time I see an isolated incident of just one call going out, I can't help but agonize over what the heck is going on in that admissions office. Like did Dean Deal make one call and get distracted with other pressing issues? Did she take a coffee break/a bathroom break/etc.? Is she coming back to make more calls? Please come back. Pretty pleaaassee.

That being said, congrats on the acceptance, GMA!!!

Hahaha thanks for the love guys. I wasn't looking for sympathy, I am in a great position right now, just trying to drop some knowledge for future generations.

I have a non-TLS friend who apparently got in today. 4.0 w/ an LSAT above median. Not sure of exact score.

Huh, so I guess there was a wave that just missed most of the TLS crowd. I haven't been keeping track but have Thursday/Friday combos been common? Looking for something to hope for tomorrow!

I had an feeling that's what it would be. Oh well. I'll frame the letter regardless lol. It's been fun ladies and gentlemen! As I make my grand exit on Valentine's Day, I wish you all the best of luck!! I'll be rooting for you guys!

By the way, we should all stay in touch after we're done getting into schools. It's quite a journey we're all on and it'd be good to be all connected in real life as we'll all be future colleagues.
