Re: Harvard 2011 Applicants
That seems to be the pattern earlier in the cycle, but at this point its going to be harder to predict the action in individual cycles. That's just my guess from reading over last years thread.swl56 wrote:oh no... don't people usually get their JR1s a few weeks after going complete/UR?c_dubya_s wrote:Nope. Re: Harvard 2011 Applicants
It seems like a lot of you who still haven't heard anything have really solid numbers, so they might be going back through to see which one of you will be getting JR1s.eaa1537 wrote:swl56 wrote:oh no... don't people usually get their JR1s a few weeks after going complete/UR?c_dubya_s wrote:Nope. I was referring to the status check. Completed email came quite a bit before that for me.hoping wrote:when people post their ur dates do they use the date they got "complete email" or the date it says ur on their status check? bec mine are a weel apart...!

Re: Harvard 2011 Applicants
I sent in my app 10/12, it went complete 11/04.
Held 1/10.
Then I got scheduled for an interview 1/13, and I just had the interview 15 minutes ago. It lasted 4 min 53 seconds, and I talked much too fast.
176, 3.78.
How's my first tls post?
Held 1/10.

Profoundly uplifting, because it means more JR1s could be on their way...Squishy wrote:I sent in my app 10/12, it went complete 11/04.

Hmmm similar numbers? check. Submitted before me? check. Renewal of neurotic optimism of receiving a JR1? CHECK!arkansawyer wrote:Profoundly uplifting, because it means more JR1s could be on their way...Squishy wrote:I sent in my app 10/12, it went complete 11/04.

If I want to send in an addendum, I have to mail it, correct? Harvard has a thing about emails.

Does anyone have any idea what it means to not have been held at this point? Is that good? Or just a sign of an impending ding? I'm UR 12/1...

Re: Harvard 2011 Applicants
Question, and apologies if it's already been answered: having been held, if I want to send in an additional letter of recommendation, what's the fastest acceptable way to do that? Do I have to have the recommender send the form and letter to LSAC in Pennsylvania, and wait for them to send it to Harvard? Or could I have the recommender send the letter and LSAC form directly to HLS? Just don't want the letter and the decision to cross each other --- though I do sort of feel like I'm tilting at windmills here regardless.

Re: Harvard 2011 Applicants
Just had my JR1--just a week after going complete.
About how long until I get a decision? What percentage of people who get a JR1 are ultimately admitted?

I think there were some JR2s one day during the week they came back, but as far as I know there haven't been any since then. Here's hoping for tomorrow.bori wrote:Does anyone know of any JR2s yesterday/today? Had my JR1 last week...

This is my first post, been lurking for awhile. Everyone keeps asking about recent JR1 emails, so I figured I'd share.

UR: 7 January 2011
JR1 Email: 13 January 2011
JR1: Tomorrow Morning (ah!)

Re: Harvard 2011 Applicants
So, all the while we were all trying to figure out if any JR1s were going out last week, it turns out they were but no one posted. This is not the first time this has happened. This makes me think this board is really unrepresentative and that a lot goes on even on days the board is silent. Maybe everything has been going out all the time, JR1s, JR2s, denies, holds.SpaaceMonkee wrote:This is my first post, been lurking for awhile.
