Everyone, it's been fun commiserating with you in this thread ... but I'm out. I just committed to Notre Dame. I made the decision this morning, and I'm at peace with it.

I wish you all the best ... there'll always be a soft spot in my heart for SMU and Dallas. My family lives there, so who knows, maybe I'll run into some of you down the road.

Good luck, Funky. It's been a pleasure. I'm sure ND will be a wonderful experience.

I think all these recent decision renders means bad news for me, since my hasn't been rendered. I have a feeling that this is an acceptance batch

It seems that those being accepted are in PT...I haven't seen any FT acceptances yet

FT only. My initial complete was 1/20. No updates yet. I really hope I get in; UH was my first choice, but because of the financial aid package and lack of merit-based scholarship, I will attend SMU if I get in.

I'm FT/PT complete at 2/3 and haven't heard anything as well.

Don't give up yet. I just checked my vm, which forwards to my email and still no messages. There's always next year for me, if it doesn't work out, or George Mason.

do phone calls come out the day of "decision rendered" updates? or do they come out a few day after?

I think the call should either be the day of DR or the next. I'm waiting just like the others--if no call by the end of tomorrow, I'll assume a rejection.

So, looking back through all of these posts, we haven't heard of anyone being accepted into the FT program after the early decision applicants heard? Is that correct?

Just confirmed that I'll be visiting for ASD on Friday. Anybody know of any hotels in the area that offer SMU-related discounts?

Great! Congrats to both of us! :)

I'm very relieved about my acceptance call, and was a little surprised at receiving a dollar offer. I know my GPA is unimpressive, so I'm very grateful.
