Cool, I didn't think that you could switch it after submission.
I don't think it'd be a problem aside from the fact it would instantaneously put you in YP territory. But with a T10 already under my belt, a confirmed JR1 would make me comfortable taking that risk.

How 'bout some JR1's or WL or rejections for us 11/19 complete folks?

I apologize if this was already covered in one of the 77 earlier pages, but I have a question: At Harvard, do you go complete after you go under review? When I saw that I was under review on 11/30, I just assumed that my application was complete because all the other schools go in the order of Received--->Complete--->Under Review. But it sounds like Harvard does it differently.

Sometimes you don't get the complete notification until after your JR1, theoretically the last component of your file. My status checker very briefly said "complete" before switching to "under review." The best advice that I can give you is not to worry about the various designations. If you're under review, the next step is a JR1.

Yeah, I meant complete email. That's how we seem to be grouping ourselves together, although it may not be well-founded.

Or so I hope! Anyway, that makes sense; thanks for the explanation.

I mean god, she just goes to Harvard Law, and she spends all her time studying and working. Who would want to date a loser like that?

This is my one and only entrance into the Harvard thread. Good luck, fuckers jealousy

unsurprising that it takes longer to go UR given that applications are picking up. hoping for a JR1 before dec. 20 but not counting on it...

anyone know if the next batch of JR2s come out before xmas or after?

Last year there was a batch of TS2's on 12/7 or 12/8 (dont quite remember which one). I'm not sure if there was another pre-Christmas batch.

it's not completely (heh) clear. i got my complete e-mail after my JR1 e-mail - for a second, i thought they were e-mailing me to tell me they had made a mistake. however, there's a block of text at the top of my status checker that says "your application to HLS is complete..." and i think it has been there since i went UR on 11/23, but it's possible it was there before. do you have that block of text on your status checker?

No JR1. I must have messed something up on my app or I'm just a really unimpressive 173/3.9.

Hope fading fast.
almost exact stats and dates and I'm still waiting also. My hope is that as relatively borderline we'll just be a little bit slower into the loop, or if not an initial acceptance, at least be towards the top of the waitlist pile.

Gah! It's driving me nuts.

Had my JR1 mid-November...

As of 15 minutes ago, yes. It's been over a week since I've had a status change at any school.

Just saw on LSN that last year, no one with my LSAT (171) and a GPA within .05 of mine (3.7-3.8) got accepted, excepting for one WL-Accepted who seems to have found out on August 20th

My fiancee just got into Harvard Dental School, so I'm wishing so hard, but meh.

Yeah, still at app received too. On Wednesday, it'll be four weeks since I've gotten a decision from a school. At least I have finals to keep me busy
