anyone who submitted in Sept-Nov who didn't hear anything?

right here. submitted mid-November, interviewed mid-Jan

Wow, late interview. I haven't gotten one. I'm paranoid that their emails just don't go through to me lol

I interviewed early Jan, applied late nov, heard nada.

The anxiety in me is telling me that they are waiting to ding.

somehow I don't think they're dinging your 175 while waitlisting high 150s. just a hunch.

That's definitely fair and I know I'm being crazy. I sometimes just can't help it.

Columbia just emailed me telling me to /please apply to their law school/

I almost freaked out in class before I read the e-mail, and then I had to check if my application didn't go through. Columbia, why do you do this to me?

I feel you. This cycle has definitely taken an emotional toll. Hoping the reward for getting through it will be a beautiful JS2 to restore our sanity

What if my interview went so good they realized Yale and will take me and YP'ed me.

And it's like that with the other 5 schools that WL'ed me.

(lol absolutely definitely 100% not)

They're taking you on an emotional roller coaster so that when you are admitted with a Butler you make a hasty decision to attend. And with that I get an annoying email from Syracuse.

My anxiety spikes 80% every time I get a new email now.

It's going to be like this from now up until a decision.


I'm thinking about sending them an email reiterating my interest and adding a 4th LOR either tomorrow or Friday (If I survive)

Is it bad to send a LOCI/email and additional info before being put on waitlist?

Seriously regretting not writing a Why X essay rn but I don't want to annoy them with new documents

I wrote a Why X for both of the schools I'm waiting for (top choices), but my problem with LOCIs is that I'm not doing anything substantially different to provide any updates. I have a demanding job and I dedicate a lot of my free time to practicing violin I was actively looking for an opportunity to help refugees (due to my line of work - even posted about it on here) but who knows how thatll play out now, and I don't expect to be able to start until my busy season ends in April.

if you have any personal connections/interactions to share with alumni, professors, students, or admissions officers from these schools, these could serve to give important dimension to an LOCI. Spivey suggested I do that with my NYU and Penn ones and I'm hoping that the strategy pays off. It's simple to list courses or seminars you love, so I think this approach could have some merit.

Got the waitlist email. Actually surprised it wasn't an outright ding since Columbia is a reach for me, but better than nothing I suppose. I wish you all the best of luck!

I hope so. Do you say this based on any solid info (acceptance spreadsheets, Ivey / Spivey admissions consulting blogs/books, etc.) or is that mostly based on word of mouth/gut feeling/TLS (not that that's a bad thing)?

I'd also really like to hear about anybody's experiences interviewing at CLS. Any advice or insight would be valuable.
