Going to be optimistic and say that there seems to be a pretty good amount of people who had their status change- usually when there are ding waves its not quite this big. There are a bunch on both TLS and reddit talking about this (granted I'm sure there's overlap). But I'm gonna hope that because it seems to be a bunch of people that it could be a slew of different decisions.

Wouldn't be so optimistic. I'm below 25th for both GPA/LSAT and also received a "decision made, wait for email" today. Granted, I do have interesting softs - but i still wouldn't get my hopes too high.EWofNell wrote:Going to be optimistic and say that there seems to be a pretty good amount of people who had their status change- usually when there are ding waves its not quite this big. So it seems a ton of people's status changed to "Decision Made; watch forr email" and no one knows whether that's a sign for acceptance, rejection, or a WL.proteinshake wrote:what is the question?latetothis wrote:I'm with you there. I'm certainly not really in admit category either.. just remarking that if this is all rejections or waitlists this is a pretty big wave. So big it makes me think it isn't necessarily all waitlists or rejections but maybe an acceptance here or there (again- I'm probably not one of them lol.)brewpub16 wrote:Wouldn't be so optimistic. it's not a sign for anything, it can be any of the three.pleasesendhelp wrote:So it seems a ton of people's status changed to "Decision Made; watch forr email" and no one knows whether that's a sign for acceptance, rejection, or a WL.proteinshake wrote:what is the question?latetothis wrote:I'm with you there. yeah you'll get the email sometime within the next few hours (I think the latest someone had to wait was around midnight). good luck!latetothis wrote:Well, first I wondered whether decision letters are emailed only to those who are waitlisted/dinged (no). But now, I'm researching to see if there's a correlation between seeing the decision made status on a Wednesday and what the decision actually is. Basically, I can't handle waiting and need to know NOW. Though it does seem people get results within hours (not days) of the status update, so that's something.proteinshake wrote:what is the question?latetothis wrote:I'm with you there. Wait. Did we get trolled? We've been waiting for an email since day one. Are they telling us what we already know?
"We know you've been waiting. We're emailing you to tell you to wait."
Edit:
User on lsn got in after getting the status change

+WL, sigh. Time to write Why Duke and a LOCI.
On a side note. To which email do I write to for Why X and LOCI?
Would also VERY much appreciate help through PM. Never been waitlisted before. Just rejected.
Edit 10000: anyone know how many people get off the WL?

Do law schools not like international students for some reason? I cannot figure out how those rejects weren't at least waitlists with your LSAT score otherwise.pleasesendhelp wrote:Fucking sucks man. That's what it seems like, but UT was very generous and they're notorious for not liking out of staters. So, I'm baffled. I'm hoping my T6 apps will be for gracious, but as of now UT is where I plan to go.Nightwing wrote:Do law schools not like international students for some reason?
