NYU says that applying late in the cycle does not put you at a competitive disadvantage.GreekOmega12 wrote:Do you all think it's too late to apply? URM if that matters

Does anyone know the dress code for the admitted students /alumnae events? Planning on attending the SF or LA one!

Long time lurker (sorry if I mess this up) but I thought my dates would help. I know I always appreciate seeing which dates are in.
In via ASW today. UR1 1/4, UR2 1/5.
LSAT >> 75th, GPA between 25th & 50th.

'Nother former lurker. In today via email! (Living abroad.) 25<LSAT<50, 50<GPA<75, very strong but by no means unique softs. Public interest background. I submitted my application on December 31 (compared to Nov 8th for almost all other schools) and it's one of the earlier ones I've heard back from. Go figure.

ASW is the admitted students website. So if your status checker says a decision letter has been sent, if you can log in to the asw you know you've been accepted.rfc180 wrote:What does in via asw mean?

Re: NYU c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
It's based on a date change. So if you haven't been obsessively checking your status checker, it's conceivable that you could miss your UR1 date and think you were UR1 when you were actually UR2.woc wrote:does the status check indicate UR2, or is UR2 based on a date change?

Yay, got in through email today.
Does anyone know if merit-based Dean's award/scholarship information is released with the acceptance?
If not, when can I expect to know if I've been offered any scholarship money?

Apologies. The question posed above was in relation to program-specific scholarships. Didn't want to be presumptuous, but I guess the same answer applies.gamerish wrote:Literally the post directly above yourssgtous wrote:Yay, got in through email today.
