No, I think what that means is that your application was not even forwarded to the scholarship committee for consideration. You're just in the general pool now with the rest of the plebs.

Ah well that's what I was assuming! I've lost hope for the scholarship but maybe they'll still come through.

I'm under review, but admissions hasn't updated my status since late December. When is it OK to call and ask what's up?

Where does it say 1 versus 2? My "under review" date hasn't changed since I've been complete but I don't know if that's "UR1"

submitted around 6 months ago. its starting to get frustrating because NYU is a very realistic option for me and I want to start planning already. uhhh. maybe tmrw? (probably the 30th time I've said that)
