I thought the books in the background would say "I know how to read" and the OCI outfit would say "I know what OCI is."

Admit, duh. Look at those well-groomed brows.
Speaking of which. This just highlights me being older, but the high school kids I work with just introduced me to the meme "on fleek."
And I kinda want to say it all of the time now.

+1 for the held crowd. most my work experience (30+ hrs) came while still in undergrad. shitty GPA and above 75th LSAT.

Jesus, Gray, you got dressed up and found a set of books that weren't yours. *sigh* I don't know how much I can fight this Northwestern selective pressure.

It's so weird seeing a picture of a TLSer. I really just saw you as a fox before. Kinda the same deal when I see people in those fb groups and I can tell who is who. Just strange.

I would admit you on based on that screenshot, gray. Of course, where I come from, professional attire is polished Ariats and starched Cinch jeans, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

I was explaining to them that all of the words and phrases they giggle over and think they created are just passed down from countless generations of high school kids before them.
Then they proved me wrong.

I hope they showed you Ms. Peaches Monroee, the creator of 'on fleek.'

Also, will you pic-quoters delete the actual image? I deleted the original from imgur but evidently it doesn't disappear right away.

Well there goes me trying to identify books on the bookshelf and pass judgement on whoever owned the books based on what they were.
Man... Maybe I do kill fun.

Oh they did. They take teaching me about things they think I should know very seriously.

Not at all. Eye brows on fleek is descended from "on point." In cartoons, a sharp point can be indicated by a character flicking a pointy needle and viewers hearing the sound "fleek, fleek."
It makes sense considering eyebrows can be sculpted to appear pointy (see above discussion).
