Sorry :/ Nice job with the preferred WL thoughKanyeShrug wrote:WL'd. It's a "preferred WL", but I'm not sure how much weight that holds. Going to do some research on last year's thread.
It's been so real, guys. Someone should start a "Georgetown WLers thread". I'm pretty sure there was one last year.
And anybody that has tangible knowledge on "preferred" as opposed to regular WL, now would be the time to tell us everyone gets in, in the end.

Oh wow, held people are getting wl'ed already? Much earlier than last year. I guess I should be expecting my ding or wl any day now (held since November).

Can't really remember dates. I interviewed 12/6/13. I had 3 updates from 12/16-12/20. I was stuck on 12/20, until today.BunkerRush wrote:Damn! Good luck on the WL. Sorry :/ Yeah it's kinda tough since this was my last option this cycle, and I can't just sit around during the summer without a job waiting.NoDayButToday wrote:Wait-listed as well. 25<Me<50 for both LSAT and GPA.
Oh well. Probably can't wait out till the end because my husband is applying to schools, too...but at least I went for it!

Also waitlisted! But it appears that there's something called a "Preferred" waiting list?
GPA around the median, LSAT way above the 75th. Interview requested but I couldn't schedule one because of many conflicts.

EDIT: The conspiracy nut in me wonders if adcomms look at our LSN pages use other schools' acceptances and denials in part to make a decision. Probably just a neurotic thought.

The plot thickens: "special group within our Preferred Waiting List."
And they're pretty much demanding a LOCI from the text of their email.

Agree, it sounds like YP. They probably assumed you weren't that committed to G'town when you couldn't schedule an interview.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
