edit: I'm pretty worried that I won't even get in because Columbia never asked me for last semesters grades..... but I still hold hope.
Do they ask for last-semester grades from everyone? Should I too be freaking out that they haven't asked me?

Haha yeah--loving U Chicago and Columia for the splitter love!!
I don't think UChi has been very splitter friendly...

congrats to all the admits!!
How long did it take everyone's apps to go complete? It's been almost a month for me and I'm still at "completion pending". I'm starting to get antsy here.

It can take a while. Four weeks is not out of the question. The only thing to make sure is if you had a UG C&F disclosure, send in your deans letter. That will hold up complete status.

Postmarked 1/24/14 - and RD. No idea how it got here so quickly. Here's hoping there's some more best coast love out there.
Edited for typing.

CONGRATS EVERYONE (especially BOM and nep!)
Also lol @ the suggestion a few pages ago that USPS is the least reliable postal carrier in the country. During the polar vortex I had packages coming to me via USPS, UPS, and FedEx. USPS was a day late. UPS was 3 days late. FedEx disappeared into the aether, never to be heard from again.
