Ugh Facebook is the worst. Now I remember why I left this.

If it weren't for LS on the horizon, I'd peace out. But for social stuff and moving to a new city, etc., I think it'll be useful.

I don't want to have to talk to my family back in the Motherland all the time so Facebook is a way to appease them. They have no idea how limited their access to me actually is.

Look at LSN. It looks like they are shooting for ~3.7/165 this year. Our class has dropped from 276 two years ago to ~196 this year. We'll take the LSAT drop before another drop in class size. With the shrinking applicant pool, they'll be unable to match the 167/168 days from peak enrollment again. Application numbers are down another ~25% or so across the board.

So, I just GEEKED OUT and crunched the numbers. Among those who reported acceptances on LSN, the median is a 167/3.57. Of course, they may start taking higher GPA's and lower LSAT scores as the cycle continues, but it looks like they're aiming for at least a 166 if not 167.

I hope they start worrying about a higher GPA median in the near future...pleaseeee.

A group of us were extended stipends and most of us were admitted in the initial December wave. I wasn't offered one last year (admitted in late jan) but I just asked for one and they gave it to me. Maybe because it was too awkward to say no? But I got it and that's all that matters

Were you offered one? If so, there is either a form that came in the mail OR you can pick one up at the office when you get there. They reimburse up to $200. Mine came in less than two weeks.
