Yeah a bit ago they tried to give a guy an award for nov as earliest still under review. I guess I unfortunately am winning.... Yay!!

Have any of you submitted a LOCI? I don't much new stuff going on. Still at the same job. The only real change to my resume is a a couple hours a week at a volunteer gig.

I submitted one after reading the oft-quoted SLS blog post about being proactive in the admissions process. I didn't really have anything new to add, but since I didn't have any "why Stanford" material in my application, I wrote some stuff about why Stanford is my top choice. Probably sounded like a desperate attempt to get noticed, but hey. What's the worst that could happen? They actually give me a decision?
