Wow. I logged into NYU application status checker for my daily application status checking and I forgot I was accepted yesterday. I still cannot believe it! Hold in there guys. I submitted 11/15, UR1 11/16, UR2 1/8

Anyone know when merit scholarship information comes out for NYU? Or would that only have arrived with admission call/packet? I've received the "pizza box" but no scholarship information.

Based on last year's thread, everybody has to wait until April to hear about merit aid.

if its after the date to confirm attendance at another school, basically we are jump headlong risking sticker at NYU if we want to attend then?

Went UR on 11/15 and it hasn't been updated since, do I still have hope or am I destined for a waitlist/ding?

Wish I knew. UR since 11/20 here.

Between this and UVA...

I've been under review since 10/16. At this point I'm thinking it means either a waitlist or a ding and that they are holding onto my file to compare it to the December LSAT taker pool before deciding which one of those options to go with. :-/

Congrats!! Your timeline is insanely fast. I submitted 1/3 and was shocked to see that it was listed as UR today (1/11) already. I'm glad NYU seems to be so speedy about this.

Nope. The phone call was just a quick congratulations and "you'll receive an accepted students packet in the mail." I also received a surreal email from Housing. Unfortunately, my best friend (who happens to be a Rottweiler mix) is not allowed in the student apartments, so he and I will live off-campus if I attend.

Thank you for all the kind congratulations! I'm thrilled with the acceptance alone, but out of curiosity, does anyone knows when NYU starts offering aid and inviting applicants to interview for Root-Tilden-Kern?

I think general scholarship offers come in April and the interviews for the named scholarships come in February and March, at least according to last year's thread. Also...I too am a dog owner (45 pound Australian Shepherd/Rottweiler mix) and am embarking on the journey of finding dog-friendly housing in NYC, so we should form a support group!
