I missed this point. Unless CU offers you a full-ride, take DU, and rock top 10%, then cruise in your BMW with bottles and models.

Why would I do that when I could go to Iowa and you could be my wing man? We could take the world by storm.

I think everyone who is getting a full got their letter unless they are holding off for some odd reason (please say they are!) I assume partials went out this week to get to people before ASW.

This is a brilliant point. Additionally, I just got the most amazing new dog this weekend, which will be perfect for picking up the ladies. Rescue, between 6 months and 1 year old, border collie/australian shepherd mix named Jasper.

The little guy on the right is our other dog, Charlie.

I feel as if I have heard both of you talk about your girlfriends.
When in a relationship its generally considered polite to not pick up the ladies.

+1

Edit: unless it is considered polite (i.e. religions that practice polygamy)

Ah, I missed that he did as well. I was just trying to hook a brother up! Lol.

The gf says I'm allowed to use the pup to help pick up ladies for other guys, just not me :-)

Once while we were walking my dog, my bf was like "Dude, if I were single, I'd totally get a dog. These things are like vagina magnets. "
Not because dogs are awesome or to help an animal in need but to somehow magnetize vaginas.
Next guy I see with a dog I'm going to kick him in the shins.

HEY HEY! We're not all bad. Mine's a rescue and really needed a good home with a playful other dog to live with.

...But if he can be multi-purpose, why not? Just because I bought my car to commute to work doesn't mean I'm not going to use it to haul my groceries.

Just got the ASD email that my letter was mailed on Friday.

Any insight to the possibility of obtaining residency after the first year?
Also, it seems that the majority accepted are still waiting on schollies?

IN!! Scholarship letter was included with the decision, mailed on 2/25 recieved on 2/26 but didn't get it until yesterday (was out of town).

$8000 for 1st year, $4000 each for years 2 and 3...which seems strange.

It's too late to RSVP for the March ASD but April 1st is opening day @ Coors field. Of all the days!

It goes down because of in-state.

The reduced scholarship amount for years 2 & 3 assume that you will qualify for instate tuition rates thereby saving an extra $7,000.

This makes sense, but I'm already in state...they must have the same scholarship structure for everyone.

Thank you!! I would definitely expect something in the mail soon. On a side note, I'm very impressed with how fast the letter got to me. 1 day for delivery? Not bad.

That is super quick. Also, what are your numbers, if you don't mind me asking?

Congratulations!

Obtaining residency is very easy and if you make an effort at it you shouldn't have a problem getting instate tuition for the second year. Yes, most people are waiting for scholarship information, but they appear to be coming soon.
