Still processing from 12/3. Wish Cornell would speed things up a bit.

Also a 11/16 - 1/05 processing update. I didn't even think to look until I saw this thread. Cornell was taking so long compared to other schools that I gave up on status checker, haha.

Got a complete email today. The speed at which Cornell operates is comical.

How long does Cornell usually take to reach a decision after one becomes UR?

Pretty sure that means auto-ding. :(
Now my status says 1/7/11.

Such rapid updates = REJECTION. :(

I think people had 3 UR dates before getting responses. Boo.

how does one go about withdrawing an application that is currently under review? i honestly have no intention of attending, and this can only help those who are.

Send them an e-mail.

As for me, "Processing," 11/23. No updates whatsoever.

In the case of Cornell, I think you'll find that it's quite possibly the only e-mail they respond to in a reasonable time frame :)

You should feel free to point out in your e-mail that part of your decision to withdraw your application stemmed from your dissatisfaction with their turnaround time!

+1, so true. They have yet to respond to my email back in Nov asking if they received all of my materials. I take it as a yes since they finally updated my status to processing 1/5.

Still processing in Nov. as well. Called recently and was told they just started moving through RD applications on January 3. November RD should expect to start completing soon.

Hope this helps.

Yes. Roughly June 1st you should get the e-mail confirming that Cornell has, in fact, received your application. As for when it goes complete, that's anyone's guess.

Still processing 12/23 (first date)

Probably won't go complete for at least 2 weeks lol. IR in Feb. Decision in March.
Oh, Cornell...and to think I rushed to get you my Dean Cert so that I wouldn't take forever to go complete. Silly, naive me.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
