I'm just curious because it's not updated grades they want--they have them--but my transcript. And the "incomplete" part is freaking me out too.
Weird, mine didn't say anything about being incomplete, but I'm still in UG.
Yeah, I don't know what to think. Especially since I graduated already.
I was hoping it was a good sign but now I don't know.

It kind of sounds like they may have sent the request to the wrong person. I would call them tomorrow.

I was thinking that was the case but the email had my UG name in it as well. Whatevs. I've sent it along. I'll let y'all know if it ended up being a good thing or a bad thing either way. One can dream!

A while, I think. There should be a big mailing in January, but it's my understanding that it is largely comprised of early RD completes. Maybe late Feb.?

Sigh, another three weeks or so till that big mailing comes out, if last year is an accurate predictor.
Don't even have the solace of clicking f5 on the status checker repeatedly for columbia...

In the thread for people who applied in October/November, people who applied as late as 11/30 heard back with the first batch in late January. Unfortunately they don't yet have data for the other months, but late Feb-early March seems to be another busy period.

So...CLS gives all acceptances, WL and rejections by email? No phone calls, right?

I just did a quick stalk of LSN, and it seems to be a "tiny envelope"...
I'M SCARED GUYS. I NEED A HUG.
Though, according to last year's data, the rejection/WL letters didn't come until like a month after you would've heard if you got in...

This is true. I think holds were in late Feb. last year. Tiny envelopes. So if you applied early and don't hear by the end of the first week of February or so... steel yourselves for itsy bitsy cream colored envelopes.

I wonder why they have the acceptance envelopes be vomit-colored and the bad ones be cream-colored. 'Cause if I get a tiny envelope I'ma wanna puke

Just to be different.
Anyone else on this thread NOT among the ranks of the super-early applicants? Because I am going to hunker down in the igloo that is my apartment and wait for spring, which is likely when I will be hearing from Columbia.

The last piece of my application came through on December 1st and I went complete that same week, so count me in the group of "late" applicants. I've been accepted to two of my top choices and haven't had any movement on any of my applications since then (mid-to-late December); no complete->UR, no second UR dates, nothing.

Sigh, I wish they would at least send out dings / holds at the same time... if I don't hear back by the end of Jan i'm gonna be in a miserable "semi-ding" limbo.

I am going to hate waiting for an acceptance letter. At least with NYU "Decision Letter Sent" we knew
something was coming. I feel like now I could just be waiting for nothing, only to eventually receive a tiny envelope.

Columbia does it the old-fashioned way.

so what date did we have to be complete by to expect to hear in a few weeks? I'm guessing 11/29 would be considered too late???

LSN shows people going complete as late as 12/17 in the first wave last year.
Edit - maybe later, not sure because I stopped looking after I saw a couple of 12/17s.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
