Just saw this.
GPA < 25, LSAT = 50, URM (AA), live in an area I'm pretty sure there's few, if any, alumni

As far as I know, they haven't sent any scholarship info out yet.

Quick question for all of you who used the ASW trick. If GULC "successfully" sends you your password, is that a 100% guarantee that you're in? I've been trying it for the last week, and getting the "couldn't generate info..." error. Just tried it 10 minutes ago and received a, "successfully sent" message and the email.
I'm pretty sure the answer is, "you're in" but I'm probably just too excited to think straight right now!
Edit: Just tried the username and password combo that was sent to me...couldn't log in - I've been told this is normal, at least until the account is activated.

How many other people are still waiting on any kind of contact? Applied and went complete early/mid January and have heard nothing since then. No interview request, no WL/ding, nothing.

Does your interviewer know your GPA/LSAT?
I acted really humble (LSAT,GPA >75) because I need every penny I can get and my interviewer told me to be more confident.

Interviewer knew my GPA from the resume that I emailed after he requested it, but didn't know my LSAT. I don't think Georgetown tells them stats.alpinespring wrote:Does your interviewer know your GPA/LSAT?

If your LSAT/GPA are both above 75ths but are invited to interview, it's not necessarily a good thing, right? Something's holding them back because most applicants with such numbers get in without interviews?
Their website states: "Interviews provide the Admissions Committee with additional information about your interpersonal and communication skills, maturity, and motivation. Interviews also provide you with the opportunity to learn more about Georgetown..."
Isn't another way of interpreting the highlighted part is that they were worried about your "interpersonal and communication, maturity and motivation" based on your app? My gosh what the hell did I do?

Anyone here with LSAT/GPA above 75ths and offered an interview?
If so, are you generally considered a "weirdo" in your life?
I mean being on TSL kind of gives it away, but still, I don't want to be the only weirdo who's alarmed that the admissions office saw through the app.

I was at or above both 75ths. It was explicitly stated that the interview was 100% optional and would not negatively affect my admissions chances if declined.alpinespring wrote:Anyone here with LSAT/GPA above 75ths and offered an interview?

My interviewer did not know my LSAT (or at least claimed that he didn't), but he did know my GPA because it was on the resume I sent him before the interview.
He also mentioned TLS in the interview (which I found funny), saying that he had used it extensively during his law school search and tenure.
I'd consider myself fairly normal (despite being on here). Mid-20s, full time engineering job, family, house, etc

I was invited to a group interview a few hours away from my city, but I was not able to attend the given time slot. Suicide? When should I expect a ding/waitlist? I did email and let them know I'd love to interview if alternative slots were available.

If we didn't get the financial aid feeler email should we just email them inquiring about aid?

Do you mind letting me know who you emailed? I've seen conflicting reports of whether it's financial aid dept or the admissions folks I should be talking to.88234 wrote:I did and got the feeler email about a day after I emailed.theboringest wrote:If we didn't get the financial aid feeler email should we just email them inquiring about aid?
