I think the 2 page essay refers to the LOCI.
Aren't LOCI's supposed to be limited to one page?

Hi!

Does anyone know if the toll reviewers will have access to our general app to the law school or only what we provide via the application?

Also did not see a place for a resume.......which makes me think that perhaps they do have access to the general app?

Has anybody who's been waitlisted sent in any of the suggested additional information? They recommend a two page essay on "a topic of your choice" - is that an extended Why Penn essay or is that their version of a LOCI? Because they don't mention a LOCI anywhere in the email

I just responded to that email with a very short LOCI (150 words) explaining that Penn remains a top choice and I intend to remain on the waitlist. Got an acknowledgement email a few days letter.
This week I plan on visiting the school and writing a LOCI based on that. You bring up a good point though, I'm not sure if that two page essay is a separate thing or if that is the LOCI. I'll try to find out.
There's really no rush to get in those additional materials. They won't start evaluating us for another 2 months so as long as you have everything by then you should be good.

I think I may do both, a LOCI and the two page essay. Don't think it can hurt, and I feel like if you have more to say than what was in your initial Why Penn then why not just tell them?

I hear, I'll probably do the same, but before I do I just want to confirm that it's okay with admissions. Don't want to send them something they didn't ask for. Are you going to send another LOR, updated resume, etc?

Do you need to email them before you visit? And do you plan on meeting with an admissions officer?

Does anyone know if they call or email you to tell you if you got one of Penn's named scholarships?

I thought it was due 2/20... unless you were admitted recently and they gave you a new deadline? Mine uploaded smoothly but it was uploaded on maybe 2/16.

I have it on my calendar for 3/15 but I don't know how I arrived at that determination! I'm visiting on 3/14 so if I'm lucky I will know the status when I visit...
I emailed to ask this and was told they are aiming for the 10th! Fingers crossed that they're able to keep that deadline

WOOHOO!

I wonder if other named scholarship applicants will be notified of their status around that time too?
