My interviewer actually did ask me what the worst and best days of my life were (in addition to the generic why law/UVA).S.Picquery wrote:I think that was Chicago. That was a little more intense. I know it's already been said - but Chris Colby is the man. Even if I don't get in, I really enjoyed the conversation with him (pls let me in UVA)

I will never not be glad that I didn't get this question. Workshopped it for weeks and I still don't have an answer for worst day. Like, I'm not gonna talk about being abused as a child, but any non real answer feels cheesy.mccracal wrote:My interviewer actually did ask me what the worst and best days of my life were (in addition to the generic why law/UVA).S.Picquery wrote:I think that was Chicago. +1!! I think I dragged out my interview a little too long (45 minutes) but he was seriously very friendly and easy to talk to!thatblondegirl wrote:+1xandra_v wrote:SO true!! For those of you that also had great experiences with him - how long did you wait between interview and decision? Like most have reported, he said it could be as short as a day or as long as a few weeks. Dying to know - UVA has been my #1 since SeptemberChristinabruin wrote:+1!! Re: UVA c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
I got "What three words would you use to describe yourself" which threw me for a loop, but Chris Colby didn't really seem to care, was more just a discussion other than that ? A lot of the discussion wasn't even about law school... flying, military life, etc. Seemed like a guy who can make most people feel comfortable.ray.bee wrote:Cool, thanks!!S.Picquery wrote:I think that was Chicago. For the other ? I interviewed right before Thanksgiving so it was about two weeks before I heard back

Hi! I'm going to be a 1L starting from August 2017. I have a place at Ivy Gardens, and it's a double. It will be on the North Side, which means that it is closest to campus. I am looking for a female roommate to share this double with me! If anyone is interested, please let me know via message. I will let you know more details about myself, as well as the lease and room. Thank you!
