I'll also note this - I've now received two recruitment emails and an unsolicited, thick-ass mailer from Mich since I applied. If they don't admit me, it'll be an all-time troll job!

In via status checker!
Went Complete on 1/2. LSAT >75th, GPA >25th. Born in Michigan, so that probably helped, seeing as I'm in a range that typically gets WL'd. I would love to go to UM, so if they offer $$ I might just take it
Good luck to the rest of you

Got the REJECTION letter today.
Didn't receive any emails before the letter so it was a surprise.
Hope that I'll have no more rejections.

Did most of those of you who have already been admitted receive materials via mail prior to acceptance?

I got a 70-80 page Michigan book and some pamphlets along with my fee waiver. Nothing since I applied, though.

I got the "we're almost done looking at you application!" letter almost a month ago. Still nothing after getting the status checker in early November. Whoever predicted long wait times this cycle because of a weaker applicant pool was totally correct.

Are your scholarships supposed to be available as soon as you are admitted, or does it take some time?

I think their stated goal going forward is to have offers out to new accepted students within two weeks of admission.Lightworks wrote:Are your scholarships supposed to be available as soon as you are admitted, or does it take some time?

Right there with you. Got the fee waiver with the handwritten note beforehand, got the letter telling me "we'll need 10 weeks AT MOST to process your application...." Now it's just getting awkward.King Cayuga wrote:I got the "we're almost done looking at you application!" letter almost a month ago. Still nothing after getting the status checker in early November. A bit late but IN last week with 30K/yr showing up on the merit aid today. 170/3.9 and a Why Michigan. Would definitely consider going if CCN gave relatively no money, which I'm expecting.

Congrats guys. I submitted 1/4 so I'd guess I'm within the next wave, but perhaps not. You in-state or OOS Marshmallow?
