I can't imagine ties really matter all that much. Looking at the LSN graph, it seems that 170 is a big hump - lots of 169/3.5+s waitlisted.
Yeah, that 170 is the magic number. Never has the difference of 1 number mattered so much in my life. Its crazy what the difference between a 170/3.7 and 169/3.7 can be in terms of acceptances and more significantly scholarships. Good Luck!
Credited. I Had a 169. Was Priority Reserve. Retook. Scored 170. Was admitted a week later with 67k scholly.
auughhhhh worst thing for a person with a 169 waiting on duke to come on here and read.

LSAT cutoffs are overrated. Relax, your application includes your transcript, essay, resume, and letters of recommendation, too.

Ditto! I was a 169, offered PT, and accepted in early February. No doubt getting the 170 helps, but not all hope is lost for those of us who were just short!

How long did it take most people to receive their scholarship decision once the status checker said it was sent? I'm located in Florida and it was sent Friday and I still haven't received it.
I don't understand why they don't email, as it saves time and money, but their delivery method isn't my choosing.
And to all priority reserves, keep hope! I was a priority reserve and was admitted with a 169, you can be too!

I'm in Boston and I'm still waiting as well. Mine was also mailed 3/8. I'm slightly annoyed. Ah, well, don't expect much, anyway.

For those of you who submitted scholarship applications, did you get a confirmation email?

I wouldn't start considering the fact that you might not hear today until about 11:50 PM

Well, as that covers my entire work day over here in Hawaii, I guess that means I'm going to have an unproductive afternoon too. Thanks though, good to know.

Thanks. The 172 was a retake. But I don't know, people with great numbers have been getting waitlisted and dinged left and right. Didn't lend much confidence and I'm not overly optimistic to begin with. Good luck to everyone still waiting!

UR1 3/7, UR2 3/12. I'm TERRIFIED. Duke is my top choice right now.
