No, it's from the Admitted Students Site. I mis-read the question.govorett wrote:Are you suppose to fill that out before you've been accepted?rinkrat19 wrote:There's a supplemental scholarship app, with two essay questions.rs2004 wrote:for those who haven't heard from NU yet, all we can do for financial aid is the FAFSA and Need Access, correct?

Does anybody have suggestions for tackling the financial aid essays? One of them seems to suggest you should sell yourself as a candidate and an impoverished student.

Haha, yeah mine are weird and strangely organized. Paragraph one: I am so awesome and this is why. Paragraph two: Despite my awesomeness, I am poor. My brother's suggestion was to write "IZ POOR, CAN HAZ MONEYZ?" 100 times over. That gets you to the 500 word limit really comfortably.src42 wrote:Haha, yeah mine are weird and strangely organized. Also, I would like to note that the people who were held at NU get to write essays about their perfect day and what they think of social media. Why are our essay topics so much crappier? I could've had a lot of fun with a Facebook essay.whathojeeves wrote:My brother's suggestion was to write "IZ POOR, CAN HAZ MONEYZ?" 100 times over. Johann tweeted about extending the deadline. Does this mean applicant numbers are low?

I just withdrew from the Hold list today. Good luck to those waiting it out (and those still awaiting an initial decision)

My request to defer to 2012 was accepted today, so hopefully someone on the hold/WL gets my spot in this fall's class!

I love small wonder. But seriously if I had a robot sister I would have used her for much more lucrative endeavors than fixing food or helping with homework.BackToTheOldHouse wrote:Bring it!unc0mm0n1 wrote:Ok everybody, it's that time again. Get your game face on.
