Nice, thanks for letting us know!cheesus wrote:Just emailed admissions about a visiting, and also checked in regarding the Scholars in Law.

WUSTL seems to have been acceptance batches at least once every 5 days... possibly tomorrow or monday should be the next update.

Re: For WUSTL Applicants
When do they send those out? I haven't received anything since the acceptance email on 2/8. Thanksjks289 wrote:They send an email with the password and login.llfurby wrote:Does anyone know how long it takes to get info/ be able to get into the admitted students website?
My status checker was not working, and then I received an email saying I had been admitted. Now, through the WUSTL website(rather than the email), my status checker is working but shows no updates and I can't access the admitted students website.

What do the complete updates mean? I didn't expect one only two days after I submitted...

For admits, can anyone explain why Illinois recruiting list is so short and lacking the main chicago firms?

I know that they have a huge group of students coming from NY and CA. Maybe they cater more towards those regions and DC?vanstone22 wrote:For admits, can anyone explain why Illinois recruiting list is so short and lacking the main chicago firms?

+1 In talking with some current students it sounds like a lot of students look for big jobs outside of the midwest. But it may also be that the big chicago market is tougher because of UofC, NW, UIUC...sibley wrote:I know that they have a huge group of students coming from NY and CA. Don't worry about it. Long waits are usually a good thing rather than a bad, especially if you're URM (you're considered URM, aren't you?) since it isn't as likely to mean a WL or a ding. Maybe they're figuring out aid. Or maybe.. something else like that.

How are UofC, NW and UIUC any more competition than Columbia, NYU and Fordham? Plus a ton of t14 people flock to ny, which seems like less the case for chicagocamstant wrote:+1 In talking with some current students it sounds like a lot of students look for big jobs outside of the midwest. Those schools are actually in the city in question. That's how.

I was under the impression that out of the 6 schools named above the only one not in its respective city proper is UIUCsibley wrote:nyyankees wrote:How are UofC, NU and UIUC any more competition than Columbia, NYU and Fordham?
