They just requested my Fall grades... good sign? I'm afraid to get my hopes up.

Anyone know how long it takes to go from "application complete" to "under review" at this stage? I've been complete and "the queue for review by the Admissions Committee" since 12/8. Should I expect to see any movement before the holidays?

Doubt it. I've been complete since 11/24 and haven't gone UR.

Has anyone who has gone complete 11/24 or after (RD) been accepted yet ?

My GPA is a bit under 25% and my LSAT's above 75%.

Got the email today asking for fall grades.

RD, Complete 11/04
GPA between 3.75 and 3.80
LSAT between 171 and 173

well, this is odd. i just got my fall grades requested. i'm solidly in traditional penn YP territory so this is certainly a surprising result. i figured i was pretty likely to just get straight waitlisted, or maybe if they were feeling some love to get accepted. but to have grades requested? not that i know how adcomms work, but i'd imagine that's for candidates they consider borderline. but even if i had a terrible semester i'd still be well within YP territory. not sure what to make of this

I got it too. My numbers are strong for Penn, so I'm actually sort of wondering if this is YP... "we are impressed with your credentials, so send us a LOCI so we know you're serious." Anyone else with high numbers get one?

You literally just got these emails? I thought that they wouldn't be sending them after 5pm ET.

Meanwhile, my UR status updated (for the first time) to 12/17. Since the file has to be reviewed by two faculty members, this date is probably the second member's review.

Mine came at 5:28 PM ET.

Previously had two UCR updates, the most recent of which was 11/25. Now my status checker says UCR 12/17, and there's a "Hold for Further Review" email listed on the mailings.

Hahaha, if you had post-Christmas finals, you could try to flunk them.

Honestly, though, YP seems to be less of a factor this year so far.

Same for me. Went complete on 11/3, went "under committee review" in early November, and they apparently "updated" it today to tell me I'm still under review.

I submitted in October and kind of hoped I'd hear by now.

Also, what do YP and LOCI mean?
