Also, yes, congrats Cal on being extremely mediocre this year and making the NCAA tournament as an 8 seed. Have fun losing in the first round.
The last two years aside, we own Cal basketball. Football may be a different story, though we still lead the overall series.

I agree, we're not very good this year. I still have us beating Dook, though, for the simple reason that they perpetually fail in the tourney. That being said, there's a good chance we don't even beat L'ville.crackberry wrote:See above post.BioEBear2010 wrote:http://www.zimbio.com/2010+NCAA+Printab ... cket+Right

I have L'ville in the Sweet 16. I hate Duke way more than I hate Cal, but I don't think Cal beats Pitino.BioEBear2010 wrote:I agree, we're not very good this year. At least we can all agree that Dook sucks. They are the only 1 seed that won't make the Final 4.

When was the last time Stanford was ranked in the top five in football, again? *begin battle of recent obscurity*crackberry wrote:True. That was in your house too, huh?Kronk wrote:67-43. At least it was close.
Edit: I should also add that if our players weren't rapists, we'd probably still be perennially far better than Stanford.

That would be so sweet if Cal beat L'ville and Duke. I'm lookin for the Terps at least to get to the sweet sixteen.crackberry wrote:I have L'ville in the Sweet 16. It was Maryland who took out Cal last year in the tourney, right?Pausanias wrote: That would be so sweet if Cal beat L'ville and Duke. I'm lookin for the Terps at least to get to the sweet sixteen.
If so, damn them.
But yes, Vasquez is a beast. I have Maryland in the Sweet-16

Re: Yale 2010
In the category of Sports Nobody Cares About (which is an important category for Stanford supporters, since Stanford does well in such sports), CU is the only school, besides Stanford, that has a legitimate claim to best overall cross country program over the past ten years. Stanford dominated cross country in the 1990s for men and women, but CU arguably deserves to be considered the best over the past decade.Kronk wrote:When was the last time Stanford was ranked in the top five in football, again? *begin battle of recent obscurity*crackberry wrote:True.
